Professor, Kasimu Alimujiang Xinjiang Normal University, China Profile: Prof. Alimujiang Kasimu, Vice Dean of the School of Geography Science and Tourism, Xinjiang Normal University. He has authored two monographs as the first author and published more than 170 academic papers. He has led three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and nine provincial- or ministerial-level research projects. His research areas include urban and environmental remote sensing, cartography and geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing technology applications, and human geography. Focusing on human-environment interactions and sustainable development under the Belt and Road Initiative, his work systematically investigates the spatiotemporal dynamics and ecological effects of interactions among multiple elements — water, soil, climate, biota, and human activities — within regional systems. |
